High Side Gondola Number 1400

General Information

This car exhibits few out of the ordinary characteristics. The outside is normal in every way, and the inside only deviates from the norm in the the use of two board corner plates. The paint is in fair condition, but the car number is the only lettering. Because the car is still full of the remains of its last few loads, it is possible that this paint job was the work of the Rio Grande. The only other characteristic of note is the lack of end tie downs and the flat floor, without patches.
