Milepost 63.6 BURNS CANON Elev. 9,030

On this section of the railroad, the rocky cliffs of Burns Canon close in on the railroad and the highway to a point where they become one.  The railway crosses the Dolores River on bridge 64-A before the canon opens up north of Rico.
