Milepost 66.0 RICO Elev. 8,737 Rico was the only division point on the RGS. It was a marshalling point for trains running between the First (north) District and the Second (south) District. The town is named for the Spanish word meaning "rich". The mines above the town brought great prosperity and riches to the town. The railway had an engine house and servicing facilities at Rico, but they were used little in later years.
